The application form collects your name, your company name, your phone number and your email address, along with the information about your project you choose to provide: service sought, type of equipment, approximate amount, timeline, fleet size, years in business and details.
Purposes
This information is used to respond to your application, assess your financing needs and, with your consent, present your file to the appropriate lenders. It is used for these purposes only.
Disclosure to third parties
Your file is shared with a lender only with your consent, when it is presented. Your information is never sold, rented or traded.
Hosting and service providers
The website and the applications submitted through the form are hosted by Netlify, whose servers may be located outside Québec, including in the United States. With your consent, audience measurement is handled by Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager. These providers are required to protect the information they process on our behalf.
Cookies
Audience measurement cookies are activated only with your consent, given in the banner displayed on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time from that banner or in your browser settings. Cookies strictly necessary for the website to function remain active.
Retention and security
Your information is kept for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, then securely destroyed. Access is limited to the people who need it to process your application.

Confidentiality incidents
In the event of an incident presenting a risk of serious harm, J. Lavoie Finance notifies the persons concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information, as required by law.
